Creating an 'Equal' Workplace - An Panel Evening

For International Women's Day, EIL will be joining our partners at LSESU Women Leaders of Tomorrow for a Women in Politics Panel which will be followed by beverages and a hot food reception.

This panel was created in response to the lack of women speakers for the EU public policy lectures at LSE. Currently there are limited events promoting equality within the public/political sphere, we feel it is important that it is student-led to inspire fellow students to go into political careers and we would like to pioneer this change with you.

Apply for a tickets via Eventbrite. Tickets are very limited so apply very quickly. We also want to emphasize that as much as this is an event to promote Women in Politics, men are highly welcome and encouraged to come!

The speakers for the evening will be:
・Anne Milton – Member of Parliament for Guildford (Keynote)
・Victoria Bew – Ageing Population Strategy, Financial Conduct Authority
・Natalie Samarasinghe – Executive Director, UN Association
・Anne Laure Humbert – Senior Research Fellow, Cranfield University
・Johanna Michael – Adviser, EU Strategy and Policy/Parliamentary Affairs, Bank of England
・Sarah Breeden – Executive Director, International Banking Supervision, Prudential Regulation Authority

Moderator: Isabella Chan – Leading the LSE in terms of gender equality through the Athena SWAN process
